Duties and Responsibilities

Our Portfolio Assistants work closely with the Company’s Principals and Portfolio Managers to support the establishment of new accounts, to help ensure the smooth functioning of custodianship, to coordinate the administrative functions related to trading and recordkeeping and, in general, to promote communication with our clients. Each Portfolio Assistant brings a special set of experiences to the firm.  What they all have in common is a service orientation and a desire to satisfy our clients’ needs.

Christina L. Charest
Portfolio Assistant

Education:
University of Connecticut
BS, Management

MBA

Mrs. Charest joined Bradley, Foster & Sargent as an Operations Assistant in June, 2004. She was promoted to Portfolio Assistant in May, 2010. Christina participated in the Company internship program, through which she was exposed to a broad range of the operational functions of the firm. 


 

Lucy M. Jolie
Portfolio Assistant

Mrs. Jolie joined Bradley, Foster & Sargent as a Portfolio Assistant in March, 2005. Lucy brings 20 years of experience in the investment management industry to the company, including operational support responsibilities in the Institutional Research department at Fox-Pitt, Kelton, and the settlements department for Conning & Company.


Kristan A. Konon
Executive & Portfolio Assistant

Education:
Middlesex Community College and Southern
Connecticut State University
Business 

Mrs. Konon joined Bradley, Foster & Sargent as an Executive and Portfolio Assistant in December, 2007. Prior to joining the Company, Kristan worked at JDA Development Co., LLC, where she was involved with property management and the financial functions of the firm.  Previously, she worked for the U.S. Department of Justice as a legal assistant.


Margaret G. Ramsey
Portfolio Assistant

Mrs. Ramsey joined Bradley, Foster & Sargent as a Portfolio Assistant in February, 2000. Before joining the Company, Peggy worked for 14 years in a variety of operational and administrative support capacities at Conning & Company.


Amy L. Vernali
Portfolio Assistant

Mrs. Vernali joined Bradley, Foster & Sargent as a Portfolio Assistant in December, 1996. Previously, Amy worked at Shawmut/Fleet Bank in their Corporate Loan Reporting division as a Loan Reporting Analyst and Operations Supervisor. Amy has also worked at several major investment firms as a Sales Assistant. In total, Amy has more than 25 years of experience in the investment/banking field, encompassing a wide range of disciplines.


Kathleen P. Wilson
Portfolio Assistant

Education:
University of Connecticut
BA, Spanish  

 

Mrs. Wilson joined Bradley, Foster & Sargent as a Portfolio Assistant in September, 2003. Prior to joining the Company, Kathy worked extensively in the real estate industry, most recently as a leasing coordinator, and in the publishing industry where her responsibilities ranged from copyediting to production management.
