We are seeking a self-starter, detail oriented, and adaptable Operations Specialist with a passion for accuracy while working in a highly collaborative environment. Operations Specialist’s key responsibilities include investment performance calculations, revenue management, marketing, and trading support. Exposure to other areas and departments within the Firm include account maintenance, compliance, and collaborating with Client Relationship Specialists. As an Operations Specialist, you’ll report to the Operations Manager and Chief Operations Officer for operational and administrative management.

Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Engage in all aspect of Performance including calculations, report generation, asset allocation, composites, assisting with audits and examination of data.
  • Assist in revenue management which includes processing and ensuring accuracy of billing data, invoice generation, and evaluating revenue management reports.
  • Daily and Monthly reconciliation of client portfolios.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales and marketing team including assembling, updating and maintaining collateral materials, responding to RFP’s and additional surveys.
  • Provide operational assistance to the Chief Compliance Officer, and Chief Operations Officer as well as the trading desk as needed.
  • Ad-hoc requests to assist all teams as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the Financial Services or Investment industry is required.
  • Broad knowledge of financial markets and industry terminology.
  • Detail-oriented, with a client-first mindset, excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and a sense of urgency to produce timely results in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Able to manage own workflow and priorities and can accommodate ad hoc requests.
  • Effective in multiple forms of communication, demonstrating a professional, collaborative, and positive attitude.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook & OneDrive), ability to learn new programs and adapt to technology enhancements.
  • Prior experience with Portfolio or Trust Accounting platforms; experience with SS&C/Advent software a plus.
  • Prior experience in similar roles within the Financial Services industry preferred, RIA experience a plus.
