Charles S. Willauer

Charlie is a Senior Portfolio Manager and a member of the investment committee. His primary responsibility is working with clients to help them achieve their investment goals through comprehensive wealth planning and investment management. Charlie is located in our Portland, Maine office. 

Previously, he was a Senior Managing Director at Clearstead Trust, where he worked with high-net-worth individuals and families in a boutique family office. Earlier, he held senior roles at RINET Company, Wellesley Investment Partners, and Rockefeller & Co., where he focused on investment strategy, client advisory, and business development across private client and institutional markets. Charlie spent ten years at Windward Investment Management and successor firm, Windhaven Investment Management as part of the leadership team growing the firm into a national competitor. 

Prior to the financial services industry, Charlie worked in the oceanographic technology industry for 10 years with several leading research institutions. Long affiliated with Outward Bound, Charlie is active in several non-profit organizations focused on education, ocean science, and the sailing community throughout New England.
